Elizabeth comes to TIMCO from the law firm of Brooks Pierce McLendon Humphrey & Leonard, LLP, where she concentrated her practice in the areas of private equity investments, secured transactions and tax.  In 2001, Elizabeth co-authored North Carolina Secured Transactions Under Revised Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.  She earned a Juris Doctorate with High Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was a published staff member of the UNC Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif, and holds an M.B.A. from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University.  Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
